Armenia remains a full EAEU member and has lodged no withdrawal or EU application. The other four members asked on 29 May 2026 for a referendum and commissioned a report on suspending the Treaty for Armenia for the December 2026 council. Russia restricted most Armenian food and plant imports from 12 June and dairy from 27 July, and on 27 May put the 2013 duty-free gas agreement in question in writing. The EU suspended duties on most Armenian exports on 24 September.
