Why Türkiye is in this module at all
Not proximity, and not diplomacy in general — Vigil does not author an actor because a state is nearby or occasionally involved. Türkiye is here because it is a party to a standing defence instrument binding a core Gulf state, and a relationship record needs both of its endpoints to exist. Türkiye's roles in Syria and the Caucasus are authored in those modules and are not restated here.
What is not claimed
The agreement's operative terms have not been published. Reporting is consistent that it contains a collective-defence clause modelled on NATO's Article 5, and this module records the reporting as reporting. It does not author treaty language, and it makes no claim about whether the pact would be invoked in any particular circumstance.
