以色列與埃及（2月24日）、黎巴嫩（3月23日）、約旦（4月3日）及敘利亞（1949年7月20日）簽署全面停戰協定。這些界線明文規定為軍事分界線，不影響任何未來的政治解決。以色列–黎巴嫩界線沿用託管時期的邊界。
The Israel–Jordan and Israel–Egypt armistice lines became the "Green Line" that still defines what the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are, and against which settlement, the barrier and annexation measures are measured. The Israel–Lebanon line is the reference the 2000 Blue Line approximates. None of these lines is an agreed border, and the module never treats one as such.
