ما الذي حدث

توقّع إسرائيل اتفاقيات الهدنة العامة مع مصر (24 فبراير) ولبنان (23 مارس) والأردن (3 أبريل) وسوريا (20 يوليو 1949). والخطوط ترسيمات عسكرية صراحةً، دون المساس بأي تسوية سياسية مستقبلية. ويتبع الخط الإسرائيلي–اللبناني حدود حقبة الانتداب.

The Israel–Jordan and Israel–Egypt armistice lines became the "Green Line" that still defines what the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are, and against which settlement, the barrier and annexation measures are measured. The Israel–Lebanon line is the reference the 2000 Blue Line approximates. None of these lines is an agreed border, and the module never treats one as such.
