Le rapport du Secrétaire général de l’ONU S/2026/566 consigne un mémorandum d’accord entre les États-Unis et l’Iran, annoncé le 14 juin 2026, qui prévoyait aussi une cessation des hostilités sur le front libanais, ainsi qu’un cessez-le-feu entre le Hezbollah et Israël entré en vigueur le 19 juin. Reuters, citant un responsable américain, a rapporté qu’il avait été obtenu grâce à une médiation américaine et qatarie. Les forces israéliennes restent dans le sud du Liban derrière la ligne de défense avancée.
