Broad area of activity

The Asaluyeh and Kangan coast, opposite the shared North Dome / South Pars field

Notable history

Seated at Asaluyeh, the fourth district's area is the coast of the gas complex that Iran and Qatar share as one reservoir under two names. That makes it the naval district whose geography is most directly tied to the energy system this module is about: Iran's export pipelines and Qatar's liquefaction trains sit on opposite shores of the same water. Iranian media reported United States strikes at Asaluyeh among the sites hit on 1–2 September 2026, carried here as an Iranian report. Structural record only.

Strengths

Sits on the one stretch of Gulf coast where Iran's and Qatar's energy infrastructure face each other, which gives the district a significance out of proportion to any force it holds.

Limitations

Its own coast is as exposed as the shore it faces. No craft, bases or patterns are recorded.

Related locations

North Dome / South Pars gas field: The district's seat is the onshore gas complex; the association is geographic and institutional, and describes no presence or activity.
