Israël et le Liban, qui n’entretiennent pas de relations diplomatiques, concluent un arrangement de frontière maritime négocié par les États-Unis au moyen d’un échange de lettres, déposé auprès des Nations unies. Il attribue le champ de Karish au côté israélien et le prospect de Qana au côté libanais, avec un arrangement de redevances.

It is the only agreed Israel–Lebanon line and the precedent for the direct, US-facilitated negotiation format of 2026. It shows that the two states can settle a boundary question by instrument while the land line remains a withdrawal line; the module records no reported change to it through the 2026 war.
