Broad area of activity
Eastern sectors — Lyman and Siversk by public reporting — and the south in 2022; corps sectors since. No current disposition is authored.
Notable history
A Ground Forces mechanized brigade of the post-2014 expansion, garrisoned in the west and committed through the full-scale war's positional battles without the public profile of the assault formations; reporting places it on the Lyman and Siversk sectors of the eastern front, where its fighting has been the long, attritional defence that generates few headlines. In August 2025 it was reported among the brigades that joined the 3rd Army Corps in the corps reform, which gave it the staff and pipeline of a corps built around one of the force's strongest brigades.
Strengths
Continuous line service and the corps structure it now sits within.
Limitations
A thin public record, which is itself a limitation of this profile; the attrition of long defence; a corps assignment reported rather than published.

Lineage & institutional history

Under the Ground Forces until the 2025 corps reform; public compilation states the brigade joined the 3rd Army Corps in August 2025, and the corps parent is drawn from that compilation and graded reported because no official order has been read.
