In brief

The largest land force on the eastern flank. The rendering failure that stopped P4 was solvable and P4.5 solved it: the armed forces’ own portal publishes a command layer, which this tree now carries. It does NOT publish a roster — its land-forces pages describe arms of service, not named divisions or brigades — so the tree stops at command and service level.

Poland joined NATO in 1999 and has expanded and re-equipped its forces faster than any other ally relative to its size since 2022.
Strengths
Geography and scale together: the ground every reinforcement crosses, and the largest army on it.
Limitations
THE THINNEST TREE IN THIS ATLAS RELATIVE TO ITS SUBJECT, and the reason is documentary rather than military. The verification pass obtained no formation from any Polish source: the ministry hosts returned an empty body rather than a roster, and the presidency sits behind a bot check this project will not bypass. What is published here is service level, named from the ministry’s own English navigation. It is a floor to be replaced, not a description of the Polish army.
