What this organisation is
bp has operated Azerbaijan's principal offshore oil fields and the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline since the corridor was built, and operates the Sangachal terminal from which both the oil line and the gas line leave. It is a shareholder in the Shah Deniz field and in the South Caucasus Pipeline, whose technical operation passed to SOCAR's midstream arm under the owners' 2013 agreement, and in the Trans-Anatolian pipeline. The module's logistics record carries the company's own disclosures as the source for the corridor's 2008 interruption and its routine maintenance outages, which the record notes are not by themselves a security signal.
The operator whose published disclosures are the module's primary source on the state of the oil line, and the reason the corridor's security has been a Western commercial interest since 2006 rather than only a regional one.

What remains unknown
- No dated claim ladder is authored; the company's production and export disclosures were not read for figures in this pass, and the module's standing rule keeps throughput by segment out of the record in any case.
- Shareholdings in the fields and pipelines have changed over time and are not carried as percentages here.
