No financials and no forecasts. A record carries what a published source states about an organisation, its published facilities and its dated claims, with each claim kept apart by kind. Nothing here is a view on any company.

What this organisation is

Azerbaijan Railways operates the Azerbaijani segment of the east–west route the module's Middle Corridor record describes: rail from the Caspian transhipment stage at Baku across the country to Georgia, and the Azerbaijani section of the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars line toward Türkiye. On its own side of the Armenian border it is building the Horadiz–Aghband line, which the company put at 73 per cent built on 5 October 2026 as reported by the Trend agency, with completion planned for 2026. The module records that figure as the company's own and as works on Azerbaijani territory: they establish nothing about the Armenian section of any route across Syunik, which has no alignment, no contract and no construction.

The operator of the corridor's Caspian-side rail and the party whose connecting infrastructure stands ready at a border that the settlement has not yet opened — the material fact behind the Watch question's distinction between Azerbaijani-side works and an Armenian construction start.

What remains unknown

  • Throughput on the Azerbaijani segment is published on a basis not comparable with the Georgian and Kazakh figures, and the module carries no volume here.
  • The company's own site and annual reporting were not read in this pass; the claim rests on the agency report the Middle Corridor record cites.
