The Taman division of the 1st Guards Tank Army — Moscow's ceremonial and showcase formation, the first publicly fielding the T-90M — turned into a line division: the Izium bridgehead in spring 2022, the September retreat, and the Kupiansk axis since.

- 重要歷史
- A division that survived every post-Soviet reorganisation because it was the capital's parade formation, re-formed as a division in 2013 when most of the army was still in brigades, and given the newest equipment first — the T-90M among it. The war made it a line division: its elements reinforced the Izium bridgehead in April 2022 and were among the formations driven back across the Oskil in the September counteroffensive, with losses counted publicly by independent trackers. Reconstituted like its tank-army sibling, it has been tracked on the Kupiansk axis since — the axis the 1st Guards Tank Army has held longest.
