- 重要歷史
- Burkina Faso's air force was a handful of transports, helicopters and light aircraft until the war made it something else. Since 2022 it has reorganised around armed unmanned aircraft and light attack: Turkish Bayraktar TB2s from 2022 and heavier Akinci drones reported delivered in 2024, which give the government a strike capability the insurgency cannot answer and which conduct the attacks whose civilian tolls — in markets, at funerals, in villages — are documented by human-rights organisations and disputed by the government. Its other defining task is supply: towns encircled since 2022, Djibo above all, have depended on airlift when convoys could not get through.
