The service flag of the Air Assault Forces, in use since 2017 — a maroon field charged with the DShV emblem. The design itself is excluded from copyright by Article 8 of Ukraine’s Law on Copyright and Related Rights, which names symbols and signs of government authorities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. The file shipped is the Wikimedia Commons SVG "Flag of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.svg", released under PD-UAexMilitary / PD-UA-exempt on that basis, so no attribution or share-alike obligation attaches. - 廣泛活動地區
- The Donbas throughout: the Sloviansk front and Sviatohirsk in 2022, the Bakhmut and Siversk sectors since, by public reporting. No current disposition is authored.
- 重要歷史
- Re-established in late 2014 as the Donbas war demanded more light infantry, and identified from the start with the defence of Donetsk airport, where its personnel were among the "cyborgs" of the winter of 2014–15. In the full-scale war it fought on the Sloviansk front in summer 2022, holding the Siverskyi Donets line at Sviatohirsk with the 79th, and has been publicly associated with the Bakhmut and Siversk sectors since — a brigade whose entire history is the eastern front.
- 優勢
- A formation identity built on Donetsk airport, and eight years of continuous experience on one front.
- 限制
- The structural limits of the branch — light protection, employment as line infantry — and a long-defence role that generates less documentation than the assault formations.
