- "Akhmat" began as the label of Kadyrov-aligned units appearing on the Kyiv axis in 2022 and evolved into a brand spanning an MoD volunteer formation, Rosgvardia regiments and republic police structures. The brand's information-space presence has been persistently larger than its independently documented front-line role.
