Service ensign: Flag of the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV) — carried by Airborne Forces (VDV), not issued to this record. The service flag of the Airborne Forces, adopted 2004 — a blue and green bicolour charged with the VDV emblem. The design itself is not an object of copyright: Article 1259(6) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation excludes official symbols and signs. The file shipped is the Wikimedia Commons SVG "Flag of the Russian Airborne Troops.svg", released under PD-RU-exempt on that basis, so no attribution or share-alike obligation attaches. - 廣泛活動地區
- The northern axes in 2022; eastern sectors since, by public tracking. No current disposition is authored.
- 重要歷史
- One of the separate brigades the VDV keeps outside its divisions, based near Ulan-Ude and drawn from the Far East, it was among the formations moved across the country for the 2022 invasion and documented in the northern operation in its first weeks. Its later war is that of the branch as a whole: withdrawn, reconstituted and recommitted as assault infantry on eastern sectors, at a distance from its home station that few formations in this atlas match.
- 優勢
- VDV selection and a brigade structure that has been rebuilt rather than disbanded through the war.
- 限制
- Light equipment and the attrition of the experienced core that the branch's employment as line infantry has cost every one of its formations. Nothing below the brigade is authored.
