Russia's presence in Burkina Faso is a training and advisory contingent of roughly a hundred personnel from late 2023 — an order of magnitude smaller than the Malian deployment. An announced expansion to three hundred is reported to have collapsed, and a portion of the force has been recalled to Russia. There is no documented combat record for the contingent comparable to Mali's, and no officially acknowledged engagement of the kind Moscow has stated for Niger.
