In brief

The army — the largest service. Its organisation page names Kommando Heer, four divisions (1st and 10th Panzer, Schnelle Kräfte and Heimatschutz) and the multinational corps it contributes to, and lists Panzerbrigade 45 under the 10th Panzer Division for Lithuania; this tree stops at the service by rule and does not model the divisions.

Broad area of activity
Germany, with Panzerbrigade 45 seated at Vilnius and to be distributed across two Lithuanian locations by 2027 according to the Heer's own page; nothing about other dispositions is authored.
Notable history
The Heer describes its brigades as the primary carriers of ground combat and sorts its forces into light, medium and heavy categories. Its organisation page names Kommando Heer, the 1st and 10th Panzer Divisions, the Division Schnelle Kräfte and a Heimatschutzdivision for homeland defence, beside the corps it contributes to — Eurocorps, 1 (German/Netherlands) Corps, Multinational Corps Northeast, the Rapid Reaction Corps France and the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps. The change that matters to this module is Panzerbrigade 45: formally activated on 1 April 2025 under the 10th Panzer Division, ceremonially on 22 May 2025, with the published mission of alliance defence of the Baltic region and full readiness targeted for the end of 2027.
Strengths
The only allied army with a brigade permanently stationed on the flank as national standing structure, an explicitly published division structure, and a Dutch mechanised brigade integrated into its 1st Panzer Division since 2016 — the deepest bi-national land integration in the theatre.
Limitations
The page names formations, not garrisons or strengths, and the brigade in Lithuania is still building toward its 2027 readiness date. The tree stops at the service: the divisions and the Lithuania brigade are published but deliberately unmodelled here, and the brigade is better approached through the Lithuanian and Forward Land Forces records.
