- 廣泛活動地區
- Garrison network nationwide, including the méhariste (camel corps) tradition in the northern regions.
- 重要歷史
- Descended from colonial-era Goumiers, the Guard has long been the state’s thinnest but most persistent northern presence, recruiting locally where the regular army could not. Its posts have absorbed many of the war’s first blows — from the 2012 rebellion to the garrison attacks of 2023–2026.
- 優勢
- Local recruitment and desert mobility tradition.
- 限制
- Dispersed small posts are the most exposed targets in the war; equipment and manning lag the army.
