概要
One of the two operational commands the ministry publishes as the basis of the Ground Forces — created in December 2001 from the 28th Army Corps, with its headquarters published at Grodno, facing the Polish and Lithuanian borders; the ministry publishes its structure as categories of unit, not as named formations.

- 部分
- 廣泛活動地區
- Western Belarus, by the ministry's own naming of the western operational direction as the command's basis; no area of responsibility, boundary or disposition is authored.
- 重要歷史
- The ministry gives the lineage in full: the 28th Army of the Soviet third formation, raised on 5 September 1942, its field headquarters placed at Grodno after the war, transformed into the 28th Army Corps in 1993 and — in December 2001, "within the ongoing reforms of the Armed Forces" — into the Western Operational Command on the corps' basis. The ministry describes the two operational commands together as the foundation of the Ground Forces on the western and north-western operational directions. The monitoring read records the command being exercised as a command in March 2026, on defence, command and control and the reduction of time to prepare a defensive operation.
- 優勢
- A named, dated, stable command with a published headquarters city on the frontier that matters most to this module, and the Belarusian formation an integration watch has to look at first.
- 限制
- Nothing below the command is published by the ministry, and nothing is authored. Whether the command would be subsumed into the Union State's regional grouping in a crisis, and on what terms, is not established by any source read. Assessed-grade throughout.
