LEGIBILITY, STATED: the badge is a detailed device and at the 18x12px the formations index renders a mark at it resolves to a pale form on sky blue. It was kept because the FIELD COLOUR carries the identity at that size and the badge resolves properly at the 38x26 and 40x40 the Atlas card and masthead use — the same test the 1MB Iranian service flags failed and were refused on.
