The main military flag of the Georgian armed forces — the five-cross field with the national arms at the centre, adopted 2007. CLEARED WITH A CAVEAT in the earlier manifest and not fetched; now fetched and shipped, and the caveat is kept rather than dropped: the force was renamed from Armed Forces to Defence Forces in 2018 and no source located in this pass establishes whether the flag was restyled with it. The label therefore names the flag rather than asserting a date, and the record's own text carries the institutional history. - Georgia abolished its Land Forces as a service in the 2010s and divided the country between two autonomous territorial commands with their own staffs and logistic and administrative resources, each responsible for the subordinate formations in its area under the defence plan. The Eastern Command's area is the one that matters most to the module's Georgian file: the boundary line with South Ossetia runs within an hour of the capital, and Gori — the garrison town the 2008 war reached — sits on the approach. The boundary lines themselves are policed by the Border Police rather than by military structures, consistent with Georgia's unilateral non-use-of-force commitment, so the command's role at the line is depth rather than presence.
