What happened

A charge detonates under the line carrying traffic towards Ukraine near Mika on the evening of 15 November 2025, and a metal device is found fixed to the rail near Gołąb the following day. Polish prosecutors charge two Ukrainian citizens in absentia on 19 November with sabotage of a terrorist character on behalf of Russian intelligence, three days after the act; both had crossed into Belarus. A European arrest warrant was sought on 1 December, international notices were issued, and a further person has been charged with assisting. Polish official and reported accounts differ on which Russian service is named.
