使用方

United Arab Emirates: The Mirage 2000-9, the Emirati variant of the family, in service beside the F-16 and the Rafale. · Ukraine: Former French Air Force 2000-5F, announced in June 2024 and first delivered in February 2025 with an air-to-ground modification; a small fleet whose size France has not published. Documented in the air-defence role against cruise-missile and drone salvos; one loss to a technical failure in July 2025 was acknowledged by the Ukrainian Air Force.

限制

A small fleet of a type with a limited global operator base makes spares and sustainment expensive and slow — costs that have been publicly discussed in Taiwan, including periodic debate about retirement. It is the fleet element most exposed to availability problems.

外觀識別

A single-engine delta-wing fighter with no tailplane and semi-circular side intakes with fixed shock cones — the tailless delta is the identification, and it is the only such aircraft in Taiwanese service.

In Taiwanese service since the late 1990s and part of the daily interception effort that produces Taiwan's published counts of PLA aircraft. The fleet has been the subject of continuing public debate in Taiwan about operating cost and spares dependence on a single European supplier, which is the fleet's defining issue rather than any question of capability. Vigil records service and publishes no basing, aircraft numbers or readiness. UKRAINE–RUSSIA. Ukraine's 2000-5F airframes arrived from February 2025 as the second Western fighter type after the F-16, modified in France to carry air-to-ground weapons. Their documented employment is air defence against cruise-missile and drone salvos; the fleet is small and France has published no number. The Ukrainian Air Force acknowledged the loss of one aircraft to a technical failure in July 2025. MIDDLE EAST. The Emirati 2000-9 is capability context for the Gulf module; no employment in the 2025–2026 campaigns is established from open sources.
