In Taiwanese service since the late 1990s and part of the daily interception effort that produces Taiwan's published counts of PLA aircraft. The fleet has been the subject of continuing public debate in Taiwan about operating cost and spares dependence on a single European supplier, which is the fleet's defining issue rather than any question of capability. Vigil records service and publishes no basing, aircraft numbers or readiness. UKRAINE–RUSSIA. Ukraine's 2000-5F airframes arrived from February 2025 as the second Western fighter type after the F-16, modified in France to carry air-to-ground weapons. Their documented employment is air defence against cruise-missile and drone salvos; the fleet is small and France has published no number. The Ukrainian Air Force acknowledged the loss of one aircraft to a technical failure in July 2025. MIDDLE EAST.
