- The 30 January 2026 agreement provided for a Syrian army division in Hasakah composed of three brigades of integrated SDF fighters, with a Kobani brigade attached to an Aleppo-affiliated division. In May 2026 the deputy defence minister for the eastern region, himself a former YPG and SDF commander, announced that four SDF brigades had joined the ministry: the Hasakah, Derik and Qamishli brigades under Division 60, and the Kobani brigade affiliated with Aleppo. Reporting at the time put the integrated fighters at about a third of the SDF's estimated strength, with the status of the rest unclear. The SDF's commander declared the institutional integration phase complete on 20 August 2026 and announced the SDF's dissolution as an independent force on 25 August; Damascus called the first a dissolution and reporting described Hasakah as still under a divided administration. This division is the place inside the state where that unfinished process is physically located. The order-of-battle compilations list a differently described 60th Division in Aleppo under the northern corps; the discrepancy is not resolved here.
