- 廣泛活動地區
- Three published missions: the defence of Norway, operations abroad, and support to other sectors of the state. The organisation describes its remit as operations carrying significant political or physical risk.
- 重要歷史
- Norway consolidated its two special units — the Army-origin FSK and the naval MJK — under one commander and published the result as a branch of the armed forces, with a staff at Akershus and an operations centre beside the Joint Headquarters. That structure, rather than any operation, is what this module records: Norway holds its special forces jointly and nationally, in contrast to Finland, which holds them inside an Army regiment, and in parallel with Denmark’s separate command.
- 優勢
- A joint command with a published place in the national command chain. The co-location of its operations centre with the Joint Headquarters is the structural link between special operations and the national joint picture, and it is published; that is rarer than it sounds among the allied special operations organisations in this module.
- 限制
- A page five years old, and a domain in which nothing operational is or should be published. No strength, no deployment and no capability is carried; the two tactical units are named and not authored; and the organisation’s relationship to allied special operations structures is not stated and not inferred.
