廣泛活動地區
The German Navy describes its usual operating waters as the Mediterranean. That is a published habit, not an assignment, and no current area is carried.
重要歷史
The youngest of the four standing forces: activated in 1999, a quarter of a century after its northern twin, and given its present name in 2005. The German Navy describes the mine countermeasures groups as several mine countermeasures vessels with a command and supply ship, whose mission is to detect and destroy sea mines.
優勢
The same standing character as the other three: a formed multinational group under a rotating commander that exists without a decision to form it, and the southern counterpart to the northern mine countermeasures group.
限制
Its habitual waters are outside this theatre, and no source read connects it to the Baltic or the Black Sea; it is carried for completeness of the standing forces under the maritime command and for no stronger reason. Nothing about its current ships, commander or position is public on the pages read, and none of it would be recorded here.
