- 重要歷史
- The youngest of the four multinational divisions in this module. The headquarters was set up in Székesfehérvár in 2020 and reached initial capability in 2023, according to the search-visible text of NATO command sites; NATO's Deputy Secretary General declared it fully operational at a ceremony on 10 February 2025, naming Hungary as host with Croatia and Slovakia as the other framework nations and calling on Allies to build on its work "to transform the division into a fully capable fighting force".

- It gives the central sector — the two battlegroups formed after February 2022 in Hungary and Slovakia — a division echelon of its own, which they lacked until this headquarters reached initial capability in 2023. NATO's verb for it, "has responsibility for", is the strongest it uses for any division on its eastern-flank page.
- 限制
- A NATO Force Structure headquarters, nationally manned and affiliated to NATO rather than an organ of it, which is why it is a root here. "Has responsibility for" is recorded at exactly that strength: it is not command or operational control of the battlegroups, which remain framework-nation formations. NATO's own February 2025 wording — a headquarters whose division is still to be transformed into a fighting force — is the honest description of its maturity, and its corps relationship is unpublished.
