- 廣泛活動地區
- Kymenlaakso in south-eastern Finland, from a published seat at Utti. The regiment’s functions are national rather than regional; the seat is the garrison it publishes.
- 重要歷史
- The Army publishes the regiment among its eight brigade-level units and describes it as home to the defence forces’ special forces and helicopter operations together with the branches that support them; it gives no founding date, so none is carried. Finland holds its special forces inside an Army regiment rather than in a separate command, which is the structural fact that distinguishes it from the Norwegian and Danish arrangements in this module. Its page reports interoperability training with Estonian forces, the accession-era change visible at this level.
- 優勢
- Two national capabilities in one published unit: the special forces and the helicopter arm. Holding them together in a single regiment is the defence forces’ own design and it makes this the one Army formation with a stated national rather than regional purpose.
- 限制
- The publication is a description of functions and nothing more. No squadron, no special forces unit, no aircraft type or number and no readiness is published, and the Atlas would refuse most of it if it were. The regiment’s relationship to allied special operations structures is not stated on its page and is not inferred.
