Strengths

A modern airframe with a European supply chain, which is the reason it was bought, and a common type across four Gulf states that makes coalition operation easier.

Limitations

Expensive to operate for small services, and dependent on European suppliers whose export politics — Germany's over Saudi Arabia most visibly — have interrupted support. Numbers and bases are not recorded.

Documented conflict use

Saudi Typhoons flew in the Yemen campaign; no engagement in the 2026 war is established from open sources.
