What happened

Sweden announces its intention to assume the framework nation role in NATO's enhanced forward presence in Finland.

The announcement is the first institutional consequence of Nordic enlargement for forward presence, and it set up the ninth battlegroup that NATO established twenty-one months later. It is also the only case in the module where one new member frames a presence in another.
