在俄羅斯全面入侵烏克蘭之後，盟國以更多艦艇、飛機與部隊強化北約在同盟東部的嚇阻與防衛態勢：向戰鬥群增派數千名士兵、以戰鬥機支援空中警戒、增強波羅的海與地中海的海軍兵力、提高部隊戰備，並且首次將北約快速反應部隊的最高戰備單元部署至羅馬尼亞。
This is the hinge of the whole module. Everything the Force Atlas contains at scale, every brigade-level formation, the Force Model, the regional plans and the Nordic enlargement all follow from the decision taken here, and the first-ever operational use of the NRF's spearhead is what exposed the readiness architecture that was then rebuilt.
