- Reached full operational capability in 2021 and reports to SACEUR. Its existence is the clearest institutional evidence that the alliance treats moving forces as a defence task in its own right.

- Most of the levers that actually govern cross-border movement — customs, transit permits, infrastructure classification — are national or EU competences rather than NATO ones. This module carries the machinery and publishes no route, sequence, timing or capacity.
