- One of the three joint force commands under Allied Command Operations, seated in the Netherlands since the post-2002 consolidation. Since January 2025 it has led Baltic Sentry, with Allied Maritime Command working under its direction, and NATO's Military Committee stated in May 2026 that it is "the leading command for Eastern Sentry and Baltic Sentry". In February 2026 the North Atlantic Council agreed that Germany and Poland would share its command on a rotational basis, to be implemented with the scheduled rotation of personnel.
