W skrócie

One of the two operational commands the ministry publishes as the basis of the Ground Forces — created on 25 December 2001 from the 65th Army Corps, heir to the Soviet 65th Army and 7th Tank Army, on the north-western operational direction; a documented, dated commander vacancy has been recorded for it in 2026.

Szeroki obszar działania
North-western and central Belarus, by the ministry's naming of the north-western operational direction as the command's basis; no area of responsibility, boundary or disposition is authored.
Istotna historia
The ministry's lineage runs from the 65th Army, formed by order of the Soviet high command on 22 October 1942, through the 7th Mechanised and then 7th Tank Army of the post-war Belorussian district, to the 7th Army Corps of 1993, the 65th Army Corps of 1994 and, on 25 December 2001, the North-Western Operational Command. Together with the Western command it is published as the foundation of the Ground Forces. The monitoring read records that in July 2026 its commander was among several senior officers replaced within a month and that the post was still vacant on 1 August 2026 — a documented, dated fact about the command, carried as the monitor states it.
Mocne strony
A named, dated command on the direction that faces two of the three Baltic states, and the second of the two formations any Belarusian integration or mobilisation watch turns on.
Ograniczenia
The ministry publishes neither its headquarters city nor any formation beneath it, and the command churn of 2026 is known only through the monitoring read. Assessed-grade throughout; nothing about readiness is authored.
