Podsumowanie

Acceded on 7 March 2024, ending roughly two centuries of non-alignment and closing the Baltic Sea’s last non-allied coastline. Membership carries the mutual-defence commitment of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, under which an armed attack against one ally is treated as an attack against them all. Sweden is framework nation of the battlegroup in Finland.
