Стислий виклад

Acceded on 7 March 2024, ending roughly two centuries of non-alignment and closing the Baltic Sea’s last non-allied coastline. Membership carries the mutual-defence commitment of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, under which an armed attack against one ally is treated as an attack against them all. Sweden is framework nation of the battlegroup in Finland. This record states the membership and its date; it says nothing about how much this state spends, what it contributes, or how reliable any party considers it — none of which membership establishes.
