Rôle sur le champ de bataille

In Ukraine, a Western infantry fighting vehicle documented in mechanised assault and defence since 2023. On the flank, the common IFV of the Nordic and Baltic armies and the vehicle through which the module's armour-recapitalisation economy object reads the joint-procurement model: one production line, many buyers, decade-long delivery schedules.

Points forts

A tracked vehicle designed for Nordic terrain and winter, with a turreted cannon of 30–40 mm and protection that Ukrainian crews have publicly credited with saving lives; a large European operator community that makes joint acquisition and cross-servicing possible.

Limites

A single production line in Sweden facing orders from eight countries and Ukraine, so that Czech and Slovak deliveries run into the second half of the decade; several operators field different calibres and marks, which limits the commonality the joint agreement aims at. Ukrainian holdings and losses are documented but not counted here. No allied holdings or unit assignments are recorded.

Identification visuelle

A tracked hull with a sharply sloped front, seven road wheels and a two-man turret carrying a long-barrelled autocannon; the Swedish 40 mm version has a visibly heavier barrel than the 30 and 35 mm marks.
