Коротко
The seagoing command of the Romanian Naval Forces, formed on 1 May 2006 in succession to the naval operational command and heir, on its own page, to the Sea Division of 1896. It commands the navy’s maritime combat formations; its subordinate divizioane are battalion-equivalents and sit below this module’s structural floor, so only its frigate flotilla is authored.

- The command’s page dates its lineage to the Sea Division created by royal decree in 1896, re-formed as a maritime division in 1962, renamed the Maritime Fleet Command on 1 September 1994, converted into a naval operational command on 1 March 2003 and established as the Fleet Command on 1 May 2006, when it took over the navy’s maritime and river combat units. Its published missions run from planning the employment of naval forces in crisis and war and exercising command and operational control over its own and operationally assigned forces, to surveillance of the maritime and river space, search and rescue, and protection of offshore platforms.
