Коротко
Romania’s frigate flotilla, the largest formation the Naval Forces publish under the Fleet Command, formed under its present name on 1 May 2006 as heir to the destroyer division of 1920. Its published role is to command maritime military action in its area of responsibility and to build and maintain the operational potential of the forces made available to NATO. No vessel, holding, readiness state or basing detail is recorded: the record is the organisation, not its order of battle.

- Широкий район діяльності
- Maritime military action in the flotilla’s area of responsibility, in its own words, on Romania’s Black Sea frontage; no base is recorded.
- Примітна історія
- The flotilla’s page recognises it as the continuator of the destroyer division of the Sea Division from 1920 to 1961: a torpedo-boat-destroyer division created on 15 May 1920, renamed a destroyer group in 1927, a destroyer squadron in 1931 and 1933, organised as a numbered destroyer divizion in 1952, and re-formed as the 56th Frigate Flotilla on 1 May 2006 in the same reorganisation that created the Fleet Command. It received its honorific in 2020.
- Сильні сторони
- The formation that holds Romania’s contribution of major surface combatants to allied naval activity in the Black Sea, with a published role stated in alliance terms — maintaining the operational potential of forces made available to NATO — and a published chain to the Fleet Command and the Naval Forces Staff above it.
- Обмеження
- The record refuses the flotilla’s ships, their state and their base, all of which the service publishes and none of which this module carries. Its area of responsibility is stated by the service only as a phrase and is not mapped here. The record is the organisation and its lineage.
