- Istotna historia
- The brigade’s page traces it to a rifle regiment raised on 1 November 1951, reorganised as a mechanised rifle unit in 1987 and moved to its present garrison in 1990–91. It took the name of the Transylvanian prince István Bocskai on 29 September 1990 and was established under its present designation on 1 March 2007. The page records that the designation was restored from 1 September 2026 after an intervening change, which is the newest dated structural fact on it.
