- Germany — the staging and transit ground between the North Sea ports and the flank — with one army brigade permanently stationed in Lithuania and a naval task-force headquarters for the Baltic at Rostock.
- Istotna historia
- The organisation the hub describes is the product of a reorganisation the Bundeswehr dates itself: the Cyber- und Informationsraum became the fourth service in May 2024; the Operatives Führungskommando took over the leadership of all operations in October 2024; and a new Unterstützungskommando, established the same month, absorbed the Streitkräftebasis, the central medical service and further agencies into a support area placed in service on 29 April 2025. In parallel the Heer activated Panzerbrigade 45 on 1 April 2025 under the 10th Panzer Division for permanent stationing in Lithuania, with readiness targeted for the end of 2027 — the module's clearest published case of a national force moving to the flank as standing structure rather than rotation.
