Under the November 2024 cessation the United States chairs the Mechanism that monitors it, hosted by UNIFIL with France, and works with France in a Military Technical Committee towards a Lebanese army deployment of 10,000 in the south. A further round focused on military arrangements is reported for 20 October 2026 at US Central Command.
