- The Armed Forces Reserve Command is the older of the two bodies that the 2022 reform brought together: when the All-out Defense Mobilization Agency was created on 1 January 2022 by merging the mobilisation policy office with this command, the Reserve Command was not abolished but continued as an affiliated organisation beneath the new agency. That distinction is the substance of the reform rather than a filing detail — policy and force generation were put under one roof while the troop command that actually runs call-ups kept its own identity and chain. The 2026 change to a uniform fourteen-day education mobilisation call-up, replacing the earlier five-to-seven-day programme, is administered here.

Taiwans Verteidigungsministerium bestätigt im Juni 2026, dass alle Einberufungen zu Mobilmachungsübungen einheitlich vierzehn Tage dauern; das ersetzt das bisherige Programm von fünf bis sieben Tagen und beseitigt die Doppelanrechnung, die das Vierzehn-Tage-Format seit seiner Erprobung 2022 abgemildert hatte. Das Ministerium meldet eine Übereinstimmungsquote von 93 Prozent für die Politik, Reservisten auf ihre ursprünglichen Posten zurückzuführen, was Ausbildung in festen Gruppen ermöglicht, und erklärt die Absicht, realitätsnahe Ausbildung auszuweiten und die Vorschriften für Reservistinnen zu überarbeiten.
