- Bemerkenswerte Geschichte
- A coastal force for most of its history, rebuilt through a 2016 contract with Italy for corvettes, an amphibious ship and patrol vessels that were delivered through the early 2020s and gave Qatar, for the first time, a surface fleet sized to its coast rather than to its harbours. The 2026 war tested it in the one way that matters here: Ras Laffan was struck on 2 March and again on 18 March, when two liquefaction trains were damaged, and the strikes came by missile and drone rather than by sea. Nothing read establishes what the navy did in the war, and the campaign record does not list it as a participant for that reason.
