ضربت مسيّرات أوكرانية مجمّع التكرير TANECO في Nizhnekamsk بتتارستان، على بعد نحو 1,200 كم من الحدود الأوكرانية. وأكدت هيئة الأركان العامة الأوكرانية ضرب المصفاة واندلاع حريق في المنشأة. وأفادت سلطات تتارستان بمقتل 13 شخصًا وإصابة 78 في مواقع صناعية ومدنية في المدينة، بينهم طفل؛ وكان تسعة من القتلى في نُزُل، وسبعة منهم مواطنون أوزبكيون بحسب المكتب القنصلي لأوزبكستان. ودعت وزارة الخارجية الروسية إلى إدانة دولية.
Two things at once, and the module records both. It is the campaign's furthest confirmed reach — a depth that puts refining capacity previously treated as beyond the war inside it — and it is the clearest case in this module of a military-economic target producing large civilian casualties.
