ضرب انفجار خط تصدير الغاز من معمل الجبسة في ريف محافظة الحسكة الجنوبي نحو الساعة 04:00 في 18 أغسطس 2026، فتوقف الضخ. وقالت الشركة السورية للنفط المملوكة للدولة إن التحقيق الأولي والمعاينة الميدانية يشيران إلى عمل تخريبي متعمد، وإنه لم يُصب أي عامل، وإنها تنسّق مع شركة الكهرباء لتعويض النقص الناتج في التوليد العامل بالغاز من مصادر أخرى ريثما تجري الإصلاحات. ولم يُحدَّد أي طرف ولم تتبنَّ أي جماعة المسؤولية.
