The Norwegian Cyber Defence, published as the armed forces’ organisation for establishing, operating and protecting their information and communications systems, in five published divisions with its main seats at Jørstadmoen, Kolsås and Eggemoen. None of the divisions is authored.

- The armed forces’ own networks and command-and-control systems across Norway, which the organisation states it delivers, operates and defends against digital threats, with personnel at roughly forty locations in the country.

- Norway published cyber defence as a branch of the armed forces in its own right rather than as a staff function, and the organisation describes its task as maintaining the armed forces’ freedom of action in the cyber domain: delivering IT services and communications, detecting and defending against attacks, and training the technicians and operators. The published structure of December 2025 — staff, IT division, CIS regiment, security centre — is the organisation the Joint Headquarters’ shared situational picture runs on.
