Cheap to buy and to fly, simple to maintain, and able to carry rockets, bombs and gun pods — enough for an air force whose adversary has no fighters or radar-guided air defence.

A trainer pressed into combat: limited payload, no precision sensors publicly documented, and employment against insurgents operating among civilians carries the accuracy concerns reflected in the module's civilian-harm reporting. Vulnerable to man-portable air defence, which claimed Syrian airframes and which the Sahel groups have only sporadically shown.

SAHEL. Shown at the August 2022 handover in Bamako and reported on strike and show-of-force sorties since; no engagement is documented with enough precision to attribute a named strike to the type from open sources.
